Man charged after police seize fake designer handbags and sunglasses – #Brookvale

A man has been charged after he was allegedly caught selling fake designer brand goods at Brookvale this afternoon.

About 1pm (Wednesday 5 October 2011), police allegedly observed a man selling designer brand handbags and sunglasses out the back of a white van parked on Pittwater Road.

Police stopped and spoke to the man and he was subsequently arrested and taken to Dee Why Police Station.

A number of fake Gucci brand handbags as well as fake Ray Ban, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Versace, Chanel, Von Zipper, Oakley, Arnette and Carrera brand sunglasses were also seized.

The 81-year-old man was charged with 13 counts of possess/sell goods with false trademark and granted bail to appear in Manly Local Court on Wednesday 2 November 2011.
